The phase focuses on the definition of target users, problem and solution concept.

Phase Goals

The focus of this Phase

After creating separate summaries and conclusions for every research strategy from Phase 1 - DISCOVER, I needed to combine those conclusions in order to be able to define the problem, the users and the solution I was going to use.

Phase Goals:

1. Define the specific problem

2. Define Personas based on the conducted user study

3. Redefine the design challenge and create an initial concept

Phase Approach

The triangulation during this phase used only the Stepping Stone Methods of the CMD METHODS PACK. The phase was dedicated to condensing the valuable insights of Phase 1 - DISCOVER into tangible representation that would be followed until the end of the project.

Relevant Research Questions

The Define Phase continued answering questions from the Discover Phase and started answering new questions that would be continued during the Develop Phase.
